Our system allows for the comprehensive asset management of assets. This involves many things including tracking of the asset, maintenance schedules, maintenance alerts, field use data, inspection reports, repair reports, re-certifications, as well as original OEM documentation.
Some examples of comprehensive asset management requirements and how we can help:
Meeting of API or other regulatory type requirements such as:
Accurate and up to date inspections (automated inspection alerts)
Detailed inspection reports and associated repair work performed (direct upload into asset file)
Scheduled maintenance repairs related to use
Inspections related to calendar days regardless of usage
Customer mandated tracking of additional data such as:
Water Depth, Pressure, Temperatures, etc…
Asset parts borrowed or lent out
Our ability to create maintenance and inspection alerts within the system allows for active notification to the responsible party. For example:
A riser joint has a requirement for inspection after 365 wet days. At 305 days, a recertification email alert is sent automatically to the person(s) responsible for arranging the transnport of the riser joint back to shore for inspection/repair & recertificiation. This alert requires an action be taken by the emailed party. The person responsible will make the entry into the tracking system showing the riser joint is scheduled for pickup and the maintenance alerts stop.
Alternatively, If no action is taken within 7 days, a second automated email notification is then re-sent. After an additional 3 days if no action has been taken, a 3rd notification is then sent out to other recipients or a designated list of people. The frequency and number of people notified increases until an action is taken. This prevents a riser joint from staying on a vessel too long and being out of certification
Inspection & maintenance alerts are fully flexible and are all determined and set by our clients based on a variety of requirements.
BENEFITS OF A COMPREHENSIVE ASSET TRACKING SYSTEM
Equipment Location – easy to locate equipment
Equipment Data – All data is hosted and is readily available via the Cloud. If you have internet access, you can get to the data.
Data files – If a client requires the latest inspection report or recertification documentation, it can be immediately accessed through the cloud and sent to the client within minutes.
Maintenance and Inspection alerts eliminate problems in the field and costly returns to the yard – With the use of maintenance & inspection alerts, we can eliminate equipment going out into the field that cannot be used. Sending equipment into the field that is out of certification and cannot be used is expensive and avoidable.
Loss prevention of misplaced or left behind tools – a simple scan of equipment on a truck or in a tool box prior to shipping lets the technician know what is found and what is missing. No more getting out to a jobsite to find a tool was left behind. Just as importantly tooling left behind on a platform or a jobsite can be eliminated with a quick handheld scan of tagged equipment prior to return. Much more likely to find it and get it back with your own personnel than to rely on someone else after you have left the jobsite.
